 The State of Qatar participated in the 11th Bali Democracy Forum (BDF) under the title "Democracy for Prosperity", held in Indonesia.

HE Foreign Minister of Indonesia Retno Marsudi touched on building democracy, setting an effective basis for ruling Asia and the Pacific and the challenges facing it. In addition, she spoke about researching options and future visions for building democracy.

The Qatari delegation was chaired by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Indonesia Ahmed bin Jassim Al Hamar.

BDF was established in 2008 to create a progressive democratic architecture in the Asia-Pacific region.
