HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani received on Saturday a telephone call from HE US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

During the call, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and means to promote them in addition to key issues of common concern.

They also touched base on the recent progress in the Afghan peace process. HE US Secretary of State extended thanks to the State of Qatar for its efforts in supporting the peace process in Afghanistan.
