Qatar, Latvia Foreign Ministries Sign MoU to Hold Political Consultations

 The State of Qatar and the Republic of Latvia signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to hold political consultations between the foreign ministries of both countries.

The first round of political consultation between the foreign ministries of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Latvia was held on Thursday in Riga, capital of Latvia.

Qatar's side was chaired by HE Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, while Latvia's side was chaired by HE State Secretary of Latvia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andris Pelss.

During the consultations they discussed bilateral relations and ways to boost and develop them, as well as the latest development regionally and globally. In addition, they discussed a number of topics of common interest.
