Joaan bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College and Diplomatic Institute Sign MoU

Joaan bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College of the Ministry of Defense signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that enables the two sides to exchange experiences in the academic and training fields.

The signing of this agreement comes within the framework of the keen interest of the Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs to encourage scientific and research exchange between the two sides.

The MoU was signed by Commander of Joaan bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College, Major General Mohammed bin Hamad Al Nuaimi and Director of the Diplomatic Institute Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohamed Al Horr.

It involved cooperation in the fields of scientific research and diplomatic studies, international political relations in accordance with the requirements of Joaan bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College, and theoretical education and training.

The MoU covered also the exchange of professional experience and the organization of conferences and joint specialized workshops with academic relevance, as well as the support and encouragement of the cooperation of both sides in conducting joint scientific research in fields of interest to both sides.

The Commander of Joaan bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for signing this MoU, stressing that it will have a positive impact on the College, and will qualify its members on the diplomatic and military sides.

The signing ceremony was attended by senior officers of Joaan bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College.
