HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani held here on Thursday meetings with HE European Union's Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship Dimitris Avramopoulos; HE Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov; HE Foreign Minister of Argentina Jorge Faurie; HE Lebanon's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Gebran Bassil; HE Norway Foreign Minister Ine Eriksen; HE Foreign Minister of Pakistan Shah Mahmood Qureshi and HE Foreign Minister of Switzerland Ignazio Cassis, on the sideline of the 74th UN General Assembly in New York.

The meetings dealt with bilateral relations and means to bolster them in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
