H.E. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Adulrahman Al Thani the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs hosted a breakfast on the sidelines of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The breakfast was attended by H.E. President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaaju of the brotherly Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. President Alejandro Giammatei of the Republic of Guatemala, H.E. President Emmerson Mnangagwa of the Republic of Zimbabwe, H.E. Prime Minister Jude Piquant of the Republic of Haiti, H.E. Dr. Jimmy Rodgers Secretary to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Solomon islands, H.E. EP Chet Greene Foreign Minister of the Republic of Antigua, H.E. Pedro Brolo Foreign Minister of the Republic of Guatemala, H.E. Bocchit Edmond Foreign Minister of the republic of Haiti, H.E. Ms Alexandra Hill Tinoco Foreign Minister of the Republic of El Salvador, H.E. Francene Baron Foreign Minister of the Republic of Dominican, H.E.  Peter David Foreign Minister of the Republic of Granada, and H.E. Joseph  Malanji Foreign Minister of the Republic of Zambia, in addition to representatives from the republics of  Madagascar, Zimbabwe and Panama.

The function aimed at enhancing cooperation in various fields, particularly in light of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar’s announcement contributing 100 million US dollars in support of the efforts of developing small island states and underdeveloped states to build their capacities and counter the devastating effects of climate change, natural disasters and environmental challenges.

The breakfast was attended by H.E. Hassan Abdulla Al Thawadi the General Secretary of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy.
