Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sends Message to Director-General of the United Nations Office on Crime and Drugs

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani sent a written message to HE Director-General of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Vienna Ghada Wali.

The message was delivered by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Austria and its Permanent Representative to the United Nations and international organizations in Vienna Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansouri, during his meeting with HE Director-General of (UNODC) in Vienna Ghada Wali.

The Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar emphasized the importance that the State of Qatar attaches to the United Nations Office on Crime and Drugs due to its distinguished role in combating crime and drugs, and the State of Qatar's keenness to provide all forms of support necessary for HE the new Director-General to help her in carrying out her duties.

Director-General of the United Nations Office in Vienna commended the cooperation between the State of Qatar and the United Nations, especially the continuous support from the State of Qatar for the programs and projects of the United Nations Office in the field of crime prevention and criminal justice, and its support for the goals and principles upon which the United Nations was founded.
