Qatar Calls for Intensifying Joint Arab Action for the Benefit of Arab Peoples
HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani said that the meetings of the 155th regular session of the Council of the Arab League at the ministerial level today come at a time when the Arab world is facing enormous challenges and imminent threats due to the continuing disputes and conflicts that displaced millions who need help and provision of the minimum basic humanitarian needs to address their daily conditions, especially in light of the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic that has killed nearly two million people and infected millions others.
UNWTO Secretary-General Receives Credentials of Qatar's Representative
HE Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Zurab Pololikashvili, received the credentials of HE permanent representative of the State of Qatar to the organization Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al Hamar, at its headquarters in the Spanish capital, Madrid.
The State of Qatar affirmed its firm belief in the rights of persons with disabilities, and its full commitment to support these rights on an equal basis with others and their full integration into society, reaffirming that it has worked to ensure the strengthening of the right-based support approach, and to include these rights in relevant national legislation, and in Qatar National 2030 vision, which stipulated to ensure the achievement of equality and justice for all groups and sectors of society.
