Minister of Foreign Affairs Special Envoy: Blockade Did Not Deter Qatar from Fighting Terrorism
The High-level International Conference on Countering Terrorism and Preventing Violent Extremism was concluded in the Tajik capital of Dushanbe Saturday, organized by the Republic of Tajikistan and the State of Qatar in cooperation with the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the European Union, in the presence of HE Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov.
Qatar Partakes in 45th Session of the OIC Foreign Ministers' Council
The State of Qatar is taking part in the 45th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States, which began today in the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka under the theme "Islamic Values for Sustainable Peace, Solidarity and Development".
Qatar and Bangladesh Sign Land Allocation Agreement to Build State Embassy
In accordance with the principle of reciprocity, the State of Qatar and the People's Republic of Bangladesh signed a land allocation agreement by the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh for the construction of a building for the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Bangladesh.
HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirodjidin Aslov, on Thursday met HE Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani, the minister of foreign affairs' special envoy for counterterrorism and mediation of conflict resolution, on the sidelines of the high-level international conference on "Countering Terrorism and Preventing Violent Extremism," currently underway in the Tajik capital of Dushanbe.
