HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani received Wednesday a telephone call from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Stef Blok.

HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi received on Wednesday a copy of the credentials of HE Ambassador (non-resident) of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea to the State Benigno Pedro Matute Tang.

The State of Qatar affirmed that its commitment to the responsibility to protect is in line with its belief in international cooperation to establish collective security, its respect for international law, and its firm policy to enhance international peace and security. Based on this commitment, the State of Qatar continued its efforts to promote this principle, as an active member and a co-chair of the Group of Friends of the Responsibility to Protect for a period of three years.

The State of Qatar has affirmed the importance of convening an international conference to discuss ways to regulate cybersecurity in international law, a call launched by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on the podium of the United Nations General Assembly at its seventy-fourth session.

HE President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin received the credentials of HE Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Thani as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Russian Federation.

The State of Qatar affirmed that it will continue to support Sudan and continue to fulfill its previous pledges and prepare to continue this support, in addition to using various investment tools to examine opportunities in the various economic sectors in Sudan.

The State of Qatar stressed Monday the importance of having the international community move urgently to stop the continued Israeli aggression towards the Palestinian people and Al Aqsa mosque.
