HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani stressed that bilateral ties between the State of Qatar and Japan are seeing great development and growth in various fields, due to the mutual trust and political will on both sides to enhance cooperation. His Excellency said that the official visit HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani paid to Tokyo in January 2019 represented a new phase of cooperation and the strategic partnership between the two sides.
The President of the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly Volkan Bozkir held an informal meeting at the request of Qatar, Lebanon, Brazil, Denmark, Fiji, India, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, Norway, South Korea, Saint Vincent, the Grenadines, Senegal, Sweden and the United Kingdom, which are the countries that prepared the "Political Declaration on Equitable Global Access to Covid-19 Vaccines", in order to announce the launch of the Joint Political Declaration that 181 countries joined until the date of the session.
