A round of political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the State of Qatar and Ukraine was held in Doha on Sunday.

The State of Qatar has reaffirmed its keenness, since the beginning of the spread of the Coronavirus "Covid-19", to provide all medical care services without any discrimination, putting human rights at the center of the measures it has taken.

The Consular Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on all Qatari citizens traveling to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to abide by the customs declaration procedures announced on the Saudi Customs website for all travelers coming to and departing from the Kingdom, whether citizens, residents or visitors, in addition to being prepared to pay customs duties and value-added tax that may be imposed on the valuable items in their possession, in order to avoid legal accountability against them.

HE Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Malta Evarist Bartolo met with the Acting Charges d'Affaires of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to Malta Khalid Ali Abel.

HE Chairman of Qatar's Gaza Reconstruction Committee Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi, stated that the State of Qatar has pledged to provide an amount of $60 million to finance the project to supply the Gaza Strip with the gas necessary to solve the electricity crisis.

HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met Thursday with HE Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, who is currently visiting the country.

HE Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi met Thursday with a delegation from the Republic of Chile headed by HE Vice Minister of International Economic Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile Rodrigo Yanez.

The State of Qatar reiterated that peaceful means are the best way to achieve the goals of peace, security and stability in the region and around the world, calling on member states to fulfill their obligations in accordance with the United Nations Charter, and to refrain in their international relations from using force in contradiction with the purposes of the United Nations.

HE Acting Charge d'Affairs at the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Republic of North Macedonia HE Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani participated in the opening of the first Development Acceleration Impact lab of the United Nations Development Programme in North Macedonia, with the support of Qatar Fund For Development (QFFD) and the Federal Republic of Germany.
