Foreign Ministry Urges Citizens to Avoid Traveling to Iraq
The Department of Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged Qatari citizens not to travel to sisterly Iraq for the time being, calling on all citizens who are now in Iraq to leave immediately, due to the developments in the country.
FAO Director-General Meets Ambassador of Qatar to Italy

Qatar Affirms Continued Development Assistance to Somalia
The State of Qatar affirmed it will continue its relief efforts and development assistance to brotherly Somalia and other afflicted countries, bearing its responsibility as an active and responsible member of the international community, and stemming from its beliefs that peace, security, development and human rights are interdependent and complementary factors and that it is the only way to avoid extremism, violence and terrorism, and that meeting humanitarian and development needs, reforms, social justice and human rights must prevail in accordance with the purposes and objectives of the United Nations.
HE Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Hassan Ali Khayre met Wednesday with HE Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Saif bin Muqaddam Al Buainain, who is heading the delegation of the State of Qatar taking part in the meetings of "Somalia Partnership Forum", currently in session in the capital Mogadishu.
