Foreign Ministry's Secretay-General Inaugurates "Tawasul" Developing Project
HE Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, inaugurated today a project to develop the "Tawasul" service, which included the implementation of an advanced electronic system to follow up the phone calls received by the Ministry's Duty Office, requests for assistance to citizens while traveling abroad.
Attorney General Signs Agreement with UNITAR to Make Doha an Anti-corruption Training Center
HE Attorney General of the State of Qatar and the United Nations Special Advocate against Corruption, Dr. Ali bin Fetais Al Marri, and HE Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Director of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), Nikhil Seth, signed a partnership agreement between (UNITAR) and the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Center (ROLACC) in Doha, in the presence of HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations in Geneva Ambassador Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri.
Qatar Informs UN, Security Council of ICJ Decision to Reject UAE's Request for Interim Measures against Qatar
The State of Qatar has informed the UN Security Council and the UN Secretary-General of the decision of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on 14 June 2019 to reject the UAE's request for interim measures against the State of Qatar in the case concerning discriminatory measures by the Government of the UAE against Qatari nationals. The decision was supported by 15 judges.
