Doha/Information Office/ 19 February 2017/ The State of Qatar expressed condemnation of the explosion which targeted a local market in the Somali capital Mogadishu Sunday killing and injuring several people.

In a statement released today, the Foreign Ministry said the State of Qatar condemns this criminal act which constitutes an aggression against innocent civilians, and contradicts all human values and principles.
The statement reaffirmed Qatar's support to all the efforts of maintaining stability and security in Somalia.
It also stressed Qatar's sincere condolences to the families of the victims, as well as the government and people of Somalia.
