The State of Qatar voiced its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted a military convoy in northeastern Nigeria and left a number of people killed and injured.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of victims as well as the government and people of Nigeria, wishing the wounded speedy recovery.
