The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the attack that targeted a voter registration center in South Afghanistan's Kandahar and left a number of election commission's officials killed.

In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to families of the victims and the government and people of Afghanistan.
