The State of Qatar has voiced its strong condemnation and denunciation of the two car bombings in Saladin Governorate, northern Iraq, killing two security officers and wounding a number of civilians.

In a statement on Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the two victims and to the government and people of Iraq, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
