The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the bombing in Iraq which resulted in the injury of five Italian soldiers, who were part of international monitoring and training mission to assist the local forces that confront ISIS.

In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, whatever the motives and causes.

The statement expressed the wishes of the State of Qatar for a speedy recovery for the injured.
