The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the suicide bombing that targeted a wedding ceremony in Afghanistan, killing and injuring several people.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the victims' families, the Government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
