The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion that took place in front of the National Cancer Institute in El Manial area in Egyptian capital Cairo, and led to deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence, terrorism and criminal acts, whatever the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and the people of Egypt, wishing the injured a speed recovery.
