The State of Qatar has strongly condemned and denounced the attack that targeted a market in eastern Burkina Faso, which resulted in deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence, terrorism and criminal acts, whatever the motives and causes.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the victims' families and to the government and people of Burkina Faso, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
