The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the armed attack in Diyala, northeastern Iraq, killing two people, and injuring one.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, whatever the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the two victims, the government and people of Iraq, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
