The State of Qatar voiced strong condemnation of the attack which targeted a town in northeast of Nigeria and left deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims, and the government and people of Nigeria, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
