The State of Qatar voiced its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack which targeted a civilian bus in Van province in eastern Turkey, leaving two dead and eight injured.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Turkey, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
