The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of an attack that targeted a mosque in northwestern Niger and led to deaths.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed, in a statement today, the State of Qatar's firm position of rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of the motives or reasons.

The ministry stressed the State of Qatar's total rejection of targeting places of worship and intimidating the safe people.

The ministry also expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims, the government and the people of Niger.
