The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the attack on a UN mission convoy in Hawari, west of Benghazi, Libya, killing two people and injuring others.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, whatever motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the two victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
