The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted a military post west the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, which resulted in deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Iraq, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
