The State of Qatar voiced its strong condemnation of the attacks which targeted two villages in northern Burkina Faso, leaving deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims, and the government and people of Burkina Faso, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
