The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the bombing, which occurred west of the Somali capital, Mogadishu, killing two people and wounding others.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position rejecting violence and terrorism, whatever the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the two victims, the government and people of Somalia, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.
