The State of Qatar voiced strong condemnation and denunciation of the heinous crime which resulted in killing eight people by firing squad and left four missing in Salah al-Din Governorate in northern Iraq.

In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar on rejecting violence, terrorism and criminal acts, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims, and to the government and people of Iraq, wishing safety to the missing.
