The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the explosion that occurred in the province of Kandahar, southern Afghanistan, killing three children and injuring two others.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The Ministry expressed condolences of the State of Qatar to the victims' families, the government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
