The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the shooting incidents in the cities of Midland and Odessa, in the state of Texas, USA.

In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence, terrorism and criminal acts, whatever the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and the government and people of the United States of America and wished the wounded a speedy recovery.
