The State of Qatar strongly condemns the attack in the Erbil Governorate in Northern Iraq, which resulted in deaths and injuries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons. The Ministry express our condolences on behalf of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and the government, and the people of Iraq. We wish the victims a speedy recovery.
