The State of Qatar welcomes the United Nation's announcement on extending the truce in Yemen for two months. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the State of Qatar's hope that extending the truce could pave the way for a peaceful resolution to the Yemeni crisis and realize the aspirations of the Yemeni people for security, peace, and development. 

The Ministry expresses the State of Qatar's appreciation for the United Nation's ongoing efforts to establish sustainable peace in Yemen. 

The Ministry Also renews the State of Qatar's call for resolving the Yemeni crisis in line with the GCC initiative and UN Security Council resolutions, specially resolution no. 2216.
