Qatar Welcomes Russia and Ukraine's Agreement on Resuming Grains Exports

The State of Qatar welcomed today the agreement signed in Istanbul between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, backed by the United Nations and the Republic of Turkey, to resum the export of grains. The State of Qatar said that the move was a step in the right direction to address the global shortage in food products. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed in a statement the State of Qatar's appreciation of the UN and the Republic of Turkey's efforts in helping reach the agreement. The Ministry also expressed the State of Qatar's hopes that the move will be a step on the way to peacefully resolve the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
