The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion in the eastern Afghan city of Jalalabad, which resulted in deaths and injuries.

In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the victims' families, the government and the people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
