The State of Qatar condemns the Israeli president's storming of the Ibrahimi Mosque [Sanctuary of Abraham] in the city of Hebron, and considers it a blatant intrusion on Holy Islamic sites, and a provocation for Muslims around the world. This brutal attack reveals the Israeli occupation's attempt to Judaize holy sites without the slightest commitment to the provisions of international law or international conventions.

The Ministry calls on the international community to assume its moral and legal responsibilities to protect the Ibrahimi Mosque [Sanctuary of Abraham] and religious sites in Palestine.
