The State of Qatar expressed its strong denunciation and condemnation of the attack that took place in Baquba, northeastern Iraq, in which one security man was killed and another injured.

In a statement Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of their motives and reasons.

The Ministry expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the victim's family, and to the government and people of Iraq, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
