The State of Qatar condemns in the strongest terms the repetition of the Israeli occupation's aggression against the city of Jenin and its camp, resulting in several deaths and injuries. It also considers this aggression a new episode in the ongoing series of attacks and horrific crimes against the defenceless Palestinian people.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warns of the fading chances of peace and the expansion of the cycle of violence due to the continuous Israeli escalation in the Occupied Palestinian territories. The Ministry also stresses the need for the international community to act urgently to provide the necessary protection to the Palestinian people, and oblige Israel to stop its flagrant violations of international law and respect the resolutions of international legitimacy.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates the state of Qatar's firm position regarding the justice of the Palestinian cause, the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, and the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
