The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the shooting incidents in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, in the United States, which resulted in deaths and injuries.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence, terrorism and criminal acts, regardless of the motives and causes.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government and people of the United States of America, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.
