Qatar Reiterates Commitment to Cooperating with UN on Doha Document Implementation

The State of Qatar renewed Thursday its commitment to cooperate with the United Nations to follow up on the implementation of the Doha Document and what the Kyoto conference will yield, in addition to reiterating its commitment to international cooperation to serve peace and stability.

This came in the speech of HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan Hassan bin Mohammed Al Emadi during his participation in the second meeting of the parliamentary group ensuring the success of the 14th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice that will take place in Kyoto next March.

HE Japan's Minister of Justice Yoko Kamikawa, HE Director-General of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime Ghada Fathi Wally, and a number of ranking officials in the Japanese government along with representatives of international organizations and diplomatic missions in Japan.

Al Emadi expressed the thanks of the State of Qatar to Japan for their cooperation and preparation to ensure the success of the conference. He stressed that the State of Qatar, which hosted the 2015 edition of the conference, is committed to cooperation with Japan to ensure the success of the conference.

His Excellency stressed that the State of Qatar will continue to cooperate with the United Nations to follow up on the implementation of the Doha Document and what the Kyoto conference will yield to advance criminal justice and deal with the challenges facing it on the national levels and globally.
