HE Lt Gen Mahamat Idriss Deby, the president of transitional military council and head of the state of the Republic of Chad, met today with HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, who is visiting Chad.

At the beginning of the meeting, HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs conveyed the State of Qatar's condolences to HE the president of Chadian transitional military council and head of the state on the death of the late president Idriss Deby.

His Excellency also conveyed the greetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to HE the president of transitional military council of Chad, and His Highness wishes of more progress and growth for the Chadian people.

For his part, HE the president of Chadian transitional military council entrusted HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs to convey his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing him health and happiness and the Qatari people continued development and prosperity.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries.
