Greece Exempts Qataris from Quarantine

Greece included the State of Qatar among the green list countries that their citizens are allowed to enter Greek lands and are exempted from quarantine, due to the repercussions of Covid-19 pandemic.

The citizens of those countries - including those of the State of Qatar - must fill out a (Passenger Locator Form) listed on the website https://travel.gov.gr as a travel document necessary to enter the country and present a certificate of vaccination against Covid-19 issued in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish or Russian from a recognized official or private hospital, provided that 14 days have passed since the second dose and it shall mention the traveler's data as it is mentioned in his official papers.

Greece also stressed the need to conduct a Corona PCR test 72 hours before travel for citizens who have not received a vaccine against Covid-19, in official or private accredited laboratories.

They should show the negative result at the airport of entry, provided that it is in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish or Russian and mention the traveler's data as contained in his official papers.

Those who recovered from Covid-19 must show a certificate proving their infection with the disease, provided that 2 to 9 months have passed from the date of infection.

All travelers will undergo a rapid test at Greek airports, and they are also obligated to comply with all measures and precautionary measures imposed in Greece. In addition, all travel and airline companies must verify the required certificates, and in the event of a violation of their commitment, they are responsible for returning the traveler to his country at their expense.
