HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met with HE Chairman of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee Senator Bob Menendez, who is currently visiting the country to attend the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation relations, ways to support and enhance relations in all fields, and the regional and international developments, especially in Afghanistan, Lebanon and Libya, in addition to a number of issues of common concern.
For his part, Senator Bob Menendez congratulated the State of Qatar on its success in organizing the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, expressing his thanks for the warm reception and generous hosting.
