Cairo /Information Office/ 05 August 2015/ HE Assistant Foreign Minister for Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi said that Qatar always stands by and support the Palestinian people in their all fair demands. Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA) here on the sidelines of the Arab Peace Initiative Committee meeting, which was held here Wednesday evening , HE Al Rumaihi said that Qatar always supports the directives issued by the committee tasked with the peace process in the Middle East in all its various statements. He added that Qatar's stance is firm towards supporting Palestinian rights in all fields , at international organizations and at all levels. HE Assistant Foreign Minister pointed out that Palestine has now become affiliated to the International Criminal Court(ICC) and a number of organizations and also got a confession from a large number of European countries, expressing his hope that the negotiations would start again in order to find a peaceful solution to the Palestinian issue. Al Rumaihi urged the Palestinians to be strong and united in the face of this external pressure and Israel's aggressions. On UNRWA's current financial crisis and Qatar's role in supporting the UNRWA, he said, Qatar has fulfilled its financial obligations towards UNRWA, adding that the Qatari government is mulling any actions that make UNRWA goes in its sound work in rendering services to the Palestinian people, notably Palestinians students .
