Acting Charge d'Affaires of Qatar Embassy Addresses Seminar in Australia
Canberra/ Information Office/ 06 August 2015/ Qatar has considerable expertise and long experience in the fields of foreign investment, multinational partnerships and global financial markets, said Acting Charge d'Affaires of Qatar Embassy in Australia Mohammed Abdullah Al Jabir. Addressing a seminar organized today by the Australia Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Australian city of Adelaide under the theme 'empowering trade and investment', Al Jabir praised the investment undertaken by Hassad Australia company, saying that Hassad Australia is a Qatari investment in Australia that benefits both Qataris and Australians. On promoting cooperation in education and scientific research between Qatar and Australia, Al Jabir said innovation in education and research field is a priority for Qatar, and Qatar had established Qatar Foundation and Qatar National Research Fund which is funding academic research in Qatar and around the world. He expressed his hope to see more Qatari students enrolled in Australian universities as well as more academic cooperation between Qatar and Australia.
