Cairo/Information Office/ 10 January 2016/ The State of Qatar participated in an emergency Arab League Council meeting at the level of Foreign Ministers that was held at the council's headquarters in Cairo. The meeting was held after a request made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to condemn the attacks made in Iran against the Saudi embassy and consulate. Qatar's delegation was chaired by HE the Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah.
