Qatar Condemns Police Station Bombing in Misrata
Doha /Information Office/ 16 June 2016/ Qatar has voiced strong condemnation and denunciation of the bombing that targeted a police station in the Abu Grain area in the Libyan city of Misrata, and left a number of people dead. In a statement issued on Thursday, the Foreign Ministry stressed Qatar's support for the Presidential Council in Libya and its backing for the council's procedures to establish security across the country. The statement reiterated Qatar's firm stance in rejecting all forms and manifestations of violence and terrorism, stressing Qatar's cooperation with the international community's efforts to restore security and stability to Libya and maintain its unity and sovereignty. In addition, the statement expressed sincere condolences to the Libyan government and fraternal people as well as families of the victims, wishing speedy recovery to everyone who was injured in this heinous crime.
