Foreign Minister Meets UK Under-Secretary of State for Defence

Qatar's Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met in London today with HE UK Under-Secretary of State for Defence Tobias Ellwood.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and means of enhancing them.
HE the Foreign Minister briefed the British official on the current Gulf crisis and the illegal measures taken against the State of Qatar.
HE the Foreign Minister reaffirmed that the State of Qatar will continue to support international efforts to combat terrorism and violent extremism in partnership with its international allies, stressing that combating terrorism in the region is a matter of priority for national, regional and global security.
